FAA – Human Factors and Risk Management (HFARM)
As the prime contractor HSI, under this ATO-E support contract, provides air traffic control, technical, and human factors expertise to support development, testing, deployment, implementation, and post-implementation of air traffic control technology and procedures such as TMA, ERAM, RNAV/RNP, and Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
These programs, and much of our current and past efforts, support the FAA’s Next Generation (NextGen) air traffic control initiatives.
FAA - Systems Engineering and Technical Support (SETA-II)
The BAE SETA-II contract provides system engineering and technical assistance for the FAA's Office of Research and Acquisitions and other FAA lines of business.
HSI, as a subcontractor to BAE, provides support for various FAA organizations and activities involved with projects and programs designed to maintain and modernize the National Airspace System (NAS) architecture and the planning and development of new concepts and capabilities for the Next Generation Air Transportation System.
FAA – National Airspace System (NAS) Implementation Support Contract (NISC II Bridge)
The NISC-II Bridge contract provides support for the integration and implementation of selected FAA NAS modernization programs as well as support services required for transformation to the Next Generation Air Transportation System. As a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin, HSI can provide technical and planning assistance for a wide range of FAA organizations within 13 functional areas representing a diverse set of work activities.
DOT – John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems (Volpe Center)
Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) Systems and Transportation Traffic Management (TTM) Support Contract
As a subcontractor to Safety Net Solutions, Incorporated, HSI provides superior, specialized resources to the Volpe Center to perform sponsoring agencies’ projects. Activities supported by this contract vehicle fall primarily in the area of transportation infrastructure. This includes traffic management communications and surveillance systems, wide area navigation systems, system requirements definition, concept development, policy planning, test and evaluation planning and conduct, human factors assessments, and safety management system implementation and integration. |
